It combines the feel of a whisky distillery with an Edwardian hunting lodge, with copper light fittings reminiscent of the still. The octagonal living space with ample seating, allows 360 degree views of the beautiful scenery.

The wood burner which takes centre stage, stretches up to a glass cupola. Patio doors lead to a spacious outdoor seating area.

My stay at Millbank was an exceptionally pleasant experience. You will love it as much as my friends and family will be recommending it to more friends and family, if not coming back too when we find ourselves in Scotland again! Nothing was too much trouble for Elizabeth and she has furnished and prepared a beautiful and uniquely designed home in a stunning location. The cottage is modern and highly comfortable with plenty of space for all to relax and enjoy. You can entertain happily and retreat in the peace and quiet day and night. With a car it is quick and easy to get to the neighbouring attractions, although you won’t want to leave!

This is the best cottage we have ever stayed. Elizabeth was very responsive and provided us all the details that we need to get to the cottage. The location is in the middle of the highlands. Stunning surroundings. The house was impeccably clean, and it was designed and decorated with a lot of heart and good taste. My family of six had a fabulous time. We are planning to go back again in winter for ski. Thank you Elizabeth for being such a wonderful host.

Lovely place for a holiday! It’s out “in the middle of nowhere” which makes for a great city escape. But not far from great castles, distilleries and walks. The house is clean and cosy, very warm in winter, and would be great especially for a larger group of 6 as there are many beds and lots of space. We enjoyed our stay very much! Thanks Elizabeth!
